Archery

The OSC has many options for all archers, whether new to the sport or experienced. From Spring through Winter there is something happening either indoors or outdoors.

For the youth, the Jefferson County 4H uses the indoor and outdoor ranges for their archery program. This program is to foster, educate, and guide youth in the areas of indoor target, 3-D, and outdoor target archery. Everyone is welcome! Please contact Dave Saxby at 920-988-2542 for more information and how to get involved.

In the winter archery moves indoors for the weekly indoor target league on Wednesday evenings. This is an opportunity to hone your Traditional, Hunter, and Target shooter skills in a fun, noncompetitive environment. Please contact Cliff Gregg at 262-263-1708 for more details.

In the spring the 3-D archery targets are set out on the ranges for the members and their guests to enjoy. Please respect the club and their targets by NOT shooting anything other than target points into them. These targets are generally left out until early fall.

Late spring/early summer starts the outdoor 28 target 3-D archery league at the club. This is a 10-week league open to members and the general public of any age. It is generally held on Tuesday evenings with opportunities for shooters to shoot other days of the week if they cannot make it Tuesday evenings. This is billed as a “Fun League” where scores are kept and compiled but there are to prizes or trophies. This is a great opportunity for shooters of all-skill levels and a great way to meet people with interests similar to yours. There are three divisions shooters may shoot-Traditional, Hunter, and X-Treme Hunter. Please contact Les Strunk at 262-894-5982 OR lmstrunk61@nullgmail.com for more details and how to get involved.

In the fall members are welcome to hunt the property. Be sure to update yourself on member requirements when hunting. Barring any scheduled events, the indoor and outdoor ranges are open year-round.
